Alexandra Headland Who's Who
Public Profile

As the director of Savo Constructions, I value quality workmanship, honest communication and attention to detail in every project.
Outside work, I enjoy hunting, fishing and spending time outdoors, but my greatest priority is spending time with my two children.
For specialist and custom projects, we also work across NSW, Victoria and Tasmania.
Led by Jyri Karisto, who brings over 20 years of construction experience, our team combines skilled craftsmanship with quality materials and a strong focus on safety and compliance with the National Construction Code and Australian Standards.
We value clear communication, transparent pricing and careful planning, giving clients a realistic understanding of costs and inclusions from the outset. Local references are available on request.

Distinguished and Famous people from Alexandra Headland
Alexandra Headland's surf club has nurtured athletes whose achievements extend well beyond the local beach. For these two champions, the connection starts in the junior ranks of surf lifesaving.
🏅 Grant Kenny
Grant Kenny progressed through the cadet and junior ranks at Alexandra Headland Surf Life Saving Club. At 16 he won both the junior and senior Ironman titles at the 1980 Australian championships, with barely time to catch his breath between victories. His paddling skills also took him into international kayaking and an Olympic bronze medal at Los Angeles in 1984. The route from local nippers to elite competition made him one of the sport's most recognisable figures.
🏅 Kristy Munroe
Kristy Munroe followed her lifesaver father Ray onto the beach at Alexandra Headland as a six-year-old. Before turning 21 she had won state, national and world ironwoman championships. She went on to win two successive world ironwoman titles, along with major board and ski events, and captained Australian representative teams. Her achievements earned induction into the Sport Australia Hall of Fame in 2016. The local nippers programme was the beginning of a remarkably versatile sporting career.
